It is possible to have drowsiness, dizziness, headache, lightheadedness, blurred vision, upset stomach, nausea, constipation, or dry mouth. Inform your doctor or pharmacist right once if any of these effects persist or worsen.

Get up gently while rising from a sitting or laying posture to avoid the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness.

This drug can cause mucus in your lungs to thicken and dry up, making it more difficult to breathe and clean your lungs. Drink plenty of water to help prevent this impact, unless otherwise ordered by your doctor.

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because the benefit to you outweighs the risk of adverse effects. Many persons who use this drug do not have major side effects.
